Friends of Rockhaven is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation that exists to support Rockhaven Park and the entities that call Rockhaven Sanitarium their home. We fulfill our mission by raising funds to help preservation efforts, give tours of the property, organize events that publicize the Park to create outside interest and garner public support, create volunteer opportunities to help clean and restore. 

 

"Rockhaven is listed on the State and National Registries of Historic Resources and considered as a Place of Women's Historical Significance with those who have visited and learned about it. For a time, the City of Glendale also embraced the significance of Rockhaven Sanitarium. But not anymore.

We at the Friends of Rockhaven have been fighting the good fight for the community to help save a preserve our history from becoming a "surplus property". We believe that together we have a louder, stronger voice.
